In my last post I spoke about doing a signed giveaway of Jack’s Back before Christmas. You may or may not have noticed that I didn’t end up doing one. Well, sadly, the reason for this is that my poor old mum became very ill shortly afterwards. A cold led to a chest infection, which turned into pneumonia, and this ended up with her having to be admitted to hospital. Despite all the effort of the medical team, her condition has deteriorated and she is now receiving end of life care.
I haven’t forgotten the giveaway, and when the dust settles I will sort it out. In the meantime, treasure your family and make the most of the time you have together. Don’t take life for granted because nothing lasts forever. My mum's name is Sheila and If anyone wants to say a few words for her in their prayers it would be truly appreciated.
